BookPlayerAudiobooks that remember exactly where you stopped
BookPlayer is a simple offline player for MP3 audiobooks on your phone. Pick a folder and listen. Your position is saved to the millisecond.
Android 14 or newer. Free, no ads, no accounts.
Built for listening
No library sync, no store, no clutter. Just your files and a player that gets out of the way.
Exact resume
Position is saved in milliseconds on pause, track change and periodically while playing.
Smart rewind
Automatically steps back 0 to 15 seconds when you resume, so you never lose the thread.
Chapters in the right order
ID3 track numbers first, natural file name sorting otherwise: chapter 2 comes before chapter 10.
Background playback
Keeps playing with the screen off. Controls in the notification and on the lock screen.
Sleep timer
From 10 to 60 minutes, counts down only while playing, with an optional gentle fade-out.
Bookmarks and speed
Save favorite moments with notes. Playback speed from 0.75x to 2.0x.
A calm, high-contrast interface
Dark first, with large controls made for one-handed use on the go.
Private by design
- No internet permission: the app cannot send anything anywhere.
- No accounts, no analytics, no ads.
- Your library, bookmarks and positions never leave your device.
